\nMcCracken<\/a> (8-2) in a lightweight matchup in
\nWeek 4<\/a> of
\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a> 2026. Sanchez and McCracken
\ndelivered an instant classic, with both fighters having their
\nmoments.<\/p>\n

Sanchez ultimately knocked McCracken out cold in the final round
\nwith a left hook to earn a UFC contract.<\/p>\n

Silvestre Sanchez touts Mexico P.I. as home to UFC\u2019s next wave
\nof talent<\/h2>\n

Sanchez is among those training at the Performance Institute in
\nMexico City. He has finished nine of his 10 career wins and claims
\nthat fighters from the Mexico P.I. are always hunting finishes.
\n\u201cGorilla\u201d promises that the UFC needs to look no further than the
\nMexico P.I. for fresh talent.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe train a lot at the P.I. in Mexico and we say that we\u2019re
\nfinishing fights,\u201d Sanchez said. \u201cWhat better place to finish a
\nfight than in the Contender Series? I\u2019m Mexican, I got the hunger
\nand I got those balls. What better opportunity than to be here with
\nmy team from the P.I. There\u2019s so much going on there, so much
\ntalent, so much coaching.\u201d<\/p>\n
