All five winners once again earned
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> contracts on
\nWeek 4<\/a>, Season 10 of
\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dana White signs Adam Livingston, Gabriel Lourenco, Silvestre
\nSanchez, Modestino Rodrigues and Adam Darby<\/h2>\n

Week 4 of DWCS 2026 went down on Sept. 1 at Meta Apex in Las Vegas.
\nAdam
\nLivingston<\/a> (8-1) and Hunter
\nSmith<\/a> (8-2) kicked off the action in a lightweight bout.
\nLivingston edged out a split decision victory after a
\nback-and-forth slugfest, earning a UFC contract in his second DWCS
\nappearance after a failed attempt last year. Dana
\nWhite<\/a> said that he had no idea who won the fight before the
\nresult was announced.<\/p>\n

\u201cGreat fight. I had it 1-1 going into the last round,\u201d White said.
\n\u201cMe and the matchmakers had no idea who won. Split decision
\nannounced. Congratulations, we\u2019re bringing you [Livingston] into
\nthe UFC.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gabriel
\nLourenco<\/a> (8-1) took on Charlie
\nCleveland<\/a> (6-2) in a heavyweight matchup on Week 4 of DWCS
\n2026. Lourenco looked flawless, dropping Cleveland with a right
\nhand and finishing him with hammer-fists in the first round. White
\nhailed Lourenco as a new threat in the heavyweight division,
\nawarding him a UFC contract.<\/p>\n

\u201cGabriel, all I can say to you is incredible performance,\u201d White
\nsaid. \u201cUFC has a new 26-year-old heavyweight beast. Welcome,
\nGabriel.\u201d<\/p>\n

Silvestre
\nSanchez<\/a> (10-1) and Liam
\nMcCracken<\/a> (8-2) delivered a barnburner in their lightweight
\ntilt. Sanchez found momentum in the second round before knocking
\nMcCracken out cold in the final round. White gave Sanchez a UFC
\ncontract while admitting that he initially thought the Mexican was
\ntoo green for the big stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cSanchez, this was a tough one for me,\u201d White said. \u201cI swear to
\nGod, there was like 2:15 left in the round, and I was sitting there
\nthinking, \u2018This is a great fight, Liam\u2019s a tough kid. But Sanchez
\nis only 24 years old. Maybe he needs some more experience.\u2019 And
\nthen boom! When you come on this show, don\u2019t let me say. \u2018Maybe he
\nis too young, maybe he is this, that.\u2019 Get your a** over here,
\nyou\u2019re in the UFC.\u201d<\/p>\n

Modestino
\nRodrigues<\/a> (8-1) came out all guns blazing from the opening bell
\nof his middleweight bout against Brandon
\nHolmes<\/a> (6-2). Rodrigues took just 15 seconds to drop Holmes
\nwith a right hand before referee Chris Tognoni called a highly
\ncontroversial stop to the fight. While White called it one of the
\nworst stoppages in DWCS history, he gave Rodrigues a UFC contract
\nfor doing his job perfectly.<\/p>\n

\u201cRodrigues, one of the worst stoppages I\u2019ve ever seen on the
\nContender Series,\u201d White said. \u201cHorrible stoppage by the ref. Not
\nyour fault. You were doing your job and doing what you were
\nsupposed to do. You were all over this guy. Come on over here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adam
\nDarby<\/a> (8-1) and Patrick
\nRivera<\/a> (13-5) met in a welterweight clash in the main event.
\nDarby brutally beat Rivera down, leaving him damaged enough for the
\ncageside doctor to stop the fight midway into the final round.
\nWhite acknowledged Rivera\u2019s grit while awarding Darby a contract
\nfor his destructive masterclass.<\/p>\n

The UFC CEO admitted that he had predicted Darby would finish the
\nfight with leg kicks before he saw Rivera absorbing them without
\nany reaction. White believes Rivera\u2019s corner should have thrown in
\nthe towel.<\/p>\n

\u201cPatrick Rivera, you\u2019re one of the toughest human beings that I\u2019ve
\never seen in my life,\u201d White said. \u201cAnd Adam, I told the
\nmatchmakers in the first round, \u2018This guy is gonna finish this
\nfight with leg kicks.\u2019 An absolute masterclass with leg kicks. And
\nsetting up other ways to do damage off the leg kicks. That was
\nbefore I realized Patrick Rivera was a cyborg. The guy never
\nlimped, he never flinched; he didn\u2019t switch stances. Thank God the
\nref stopped that fight; his corner should have stopped that fight.
\nBut you systematically just broke this guy down. Absolutely
\nsurgical. Welcome to the UFC.\u201d<\/p>\n
