Page completed his current UFC contract with a unanimous decision
\nwin over Nursulton
\nRuziboev<\/a> at
\nUFC Paris<\/a> on Sept. 5. Despite the victory, the former Bellator<\/a>
\nstandout has now been removed from the promotion’s latest round of
\nrankings eligibility, according to an email sent to ranking
\npanelists.<\/p>\n

Michael Page removed from UFC rankings eligibility after UFC
\nParis win<\/h2>\n

Longtime mixed martial arts reporter John Morgan<\/a> shared an email he received from the UFC
\nregarding the latest round of ranking updates.<\/p>\n

\u201cDear Panelists, Michael Page has been removed from rankings
\neligibility effective immediately,\u201d the email read. \u201cIf you ranked
\nhim in your middleweight division already, we ask that you please
\nre-rank that division to make sure you have 15 athletes.\u201d<\/p>\n

This comes after Page himself acknowledged that he may not be
\noffered another UFC contract after another lackluster decision
\nwin.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey weren\u2019t happy with me before; they\u2019re not gonna be happy with
\nme now,\u201d Page said following the fight. \u201cIf I put myself in their
\nshoes, it\u2019s like, same thing. \u2018We can sign him again, but are we
\ngonna see much more?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Page joined the UFC in 2024 and has gone 5-1 inside the Octagon,
\nwith his only defeat coming against Ian
\nGarry<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nUFC may not have been happy with his performance, which could
\nexplain why he wasn\u2019t granted a post-fight interview inside the
\ncage.<\/p>\n
