\nrematch with Ciryl Gane<\/a>
\nafter losing to the Frenchman in their interim heavyweight title
\nfight at
\nUFC Freedom 250<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pereira says a second fight with Gane makes sense after their
\nUFC Freedom 250 finish<\/h2>\n

Pereira took to Instagram to call out Gane. He touched on the
\ncontroversial nature of the finish when they squared off at the
\nWhite House in June and seems confident the matchup will come to
\nfruition.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter much time resting and doing what I needed to do, after much
\nwork, after my last fight, many people are talking about who will
\nAlex fight,\u201d Pereira said in an Instagram video. \u201cI\u2019m seeing many
\nopinions, but I think the fight that makes sense is Ciryl Gane.
\nThat\u2019s the fight. I\u2019m going to work on that and from what I\u2019m
\nseeing, it\u2019s something that\u2019s going to happen. How the last fight
\nended: there were illegal shots.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gane was expected to take on Tom
\nAspinall<\/a> in a title-unification bout next, but the Englishman\u2019s
\nOctagon return appears to be further delayed. His advisor, Eddie
\nHearn, recently claimed that Aspinall is yet to be cleared by
\ncommissions after having multiple eye surgeries stemming from
\ninjuries sustained in his first fight with Gane last year.<\/p>\n
