\nWilliams<\/a> is well aware of his upcoming opponent’s skills and
\naccomplishments.<\/p>\n

Williams (16-5) will welcome former two-division
\nKSW<\/a> champion Roberto
\nSoldic<\/a> (21-4) to the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> when the pair meet on Oct. 3 at
\nDelta Center in Salt Lake City. For Williams, the matchup came
\ntogether quickly, but he had no hesitation about accepting it.<\/p>\n

Kalinn Williams explains why Roberto Soldic\u2019s reputation made
\nthe UFC 332 fight more appealing<\/h2>\n

In a recent interview with MMA Junkie, Williams discussed how the
\nUFC
\n332<\/a> matchup materialized just days prior to the announcement.
\nHe acknowledged the hype surrounding Soldic and sees the fight as
\nan opportunity to add a big name to his record.<\/p>\n

\u201cA couple days ago, pretty much,\u201d Williams said. \u201cFighters fight,
\nman. So, it\u2019s one of them things that, it just happened, man, and I
\njust took advantage of the opportunity. I know he\u2019s dangerous. I
\nknow what he\u2019s capable of. I checked him out and that\u2019s why I took
\nthe fight. He got all this hype around him, man. He\u2019s dangerous. I
\nmean, come on, a resume speaks for itself. I go get a guy like that
\nunder my belt, now what?\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Williams emphasized that he isn’t intimidated by Soldic\u2019s
\nreputation.<\/p>\n

\u201cI fear no man,\u201d Williams added. \u201cWe all bleed the same, we all
\nbreathe the same and we\u2019re just going to find out who wants it
\nmore. When all that hype, all them names, all the expectation, all
\nthat disappears, it\u2019s just me and you. I know what I\u2019m coming to
\ndo.\u201d<\/p>\n

Williams is coming off a first-round TKO victory over Nikolay
\nVeretennikov<\/a> in May. Meanwhile, Soldic went to One
\nChampionship<\/a> after leaving KSW, fighting in the Asia-based
\npromotion three times before signing with the UFC.<\/p>\n
