Topuria suffered the first defeat of his professional career at

\nUFC Freedom 250<\/a> earlier this year. Justin
\nGaethje<\/a> forced a corner stoppage before the final round of his
\ntitle clash with Topuria. Despite taking heavy damage in the fight,
\nWhite has revealed that \u201cEl Matador\u201d will return to the Octagon
\nsooner than expected.<\/p>\n

Dana White weighs Justin Gaethje rematch and Paddy Pimblett
\nfight for Topuria<\/h2>\n

During his appearance on \u201cThe Jim Rome Show,\u201d White was asked about
\nTopuria’s future after the Georgian-Spaniard recently addressed the
\ndefeat on social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cTopuria’s ready to fight,\u201d White said. \u201cWe’re ready, we’re ready
\nfor him.\u201d<\/p>\n

The UFC CEO was then asked whether a rematch with Gaethje or a
\nmatchup with Paddy
\nPimblett<\/a> is more likely for the former two-division champ\u2019s
\nreturn.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, both sound good to me,\u201d White added. \u201cThey’re both great
\nfights, I don’t know. I don’t really have the answer to that
\nquestion. I mean, obviously the rematch with Gaethje is incredible
\nand a Paddy Pimblett fight is amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gaethje has previously dismissed the idea of an immediate rematch
\nwith Topuria, while Pimblett has welcomed the matchup, given the
\nyears-long heated rivalry.<\/p>\n
