Josh Hokit targets Ciryl Gane as UFC heavyweight division moves

Shortly after Aspinall announced his decision to vacate the
\nheavyweight title, Hokit called for a fight against Gane on social
\nmedia.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fans deserve Me vs Gane,\u201d Hokit wrote on X. \u201cI\u2019ll give Ciryl
\nwhat he has coming. If Alex can win 1 fight in my weight class,
\nI\u2019ll give it to him too, early \u201827. I\u2019ll be the most active champ
\nin the company.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both Gane and Hokit recorded stoppage victories at
\nUFC Freedom 250<\/a>, where \u201cBon Gamin\u201d beat Alex
\nPereira<\/a> to win the interim heavyweight title and \u201cThe
\nIncredible Hok\u201d knocked out Derrick
\nLewis<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Notably, Pereira has also called out Gane. \u201cPoatan\u201d recently took
\nto Instagram to campaign for a rematch with the Frenchman, claiming
\nthat illegal shots to the back of his head played a pivotal role in
\nthe finishing sequence when they collided at the White House
