The Brazilian middleweight stopped Oscar
\nRavello<\/a> via technical knockout at 1:38 of the opening round
\nwhen they clashed at Meta Apex in Las Vegas on
\nWeek 6<\/a> of DWCS 2026, earning the 14th victory of his
\nprofessional career and a UFC contract.<\/p>\n

Igor Cavalcanti earns UFC contract in second DWCS
\nappearance<\/h2>\n

In his second appearance on DWCS, the action began at a chaotic
\npace, with both fighters immediately looking to land damaging
\nstrikes. Cavalcanti eventually found the mark with a powerful right
\nhand that sent Ravello to the canvas.<\/p>\n

Ravello managed to survive the initial onslaught and continued
\nfiring back while attempting to stay in the bout. Cavalcanti,
\nhowever, maintained the pressure and repeatedly connected with
\nground strikes. Referee Kevin
\nMacDonald<\/a> eventually stepped in to halt the bout after 98
\nseconds. The victory gave Cavalcanti his first DWCS win after
\nfalling short in his previous appearance in 2024.<\/p>\n

\nopportunity,\u201d Cavalcanti said in his post-fight interview. \u201cYou
