Pantoja (30-6) will look to reclaim the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> flyweight title against Van
\n(17-2) at UFC
\n331<\/a> on Sept. 19 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Rather than
\nstoking the flames of their rivalry in the lead-up to their
\nrematch, the former champ is solely thinking about the fight.<\/p>\n

Alexandre Pantoja says his sole focus is beating Joshua Van at
\nUFC 331<\/h2>\n

Pantoja says the lead-up to his rematch against Van will be
\ndifferent than their first encounter. The Brazilian has no room in
\nhis mind to sell this fight by building up the rivalry and isn\u2019t
\neven interested in the press conference or other pre-fight customs.
\nWhile Pantoja knows fans like some pre-fight antics, he believes he
\ngave them their fair share last time around.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow it\u2019s gonna be a little bit different than last time,\u201d Pantoja
\ntold Full Send MMA. \u201cI don\u2019t try to sell this fight anymore; I\u2019m
\nhere to fight. I\u2019m in fight week and I\u2019m not here for the press
\nconference; I\u2019m here for Saturday night. Doesn\u2019t matter what he
\ntalks about. I know people love the press conference and all that,
\nbut I gave you a good show last time. My mind is only focused on
\nSaturday.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the dynamic between the two was amicable going into their
\nfirst meeting last year, a presser following the announcement of
\nthe rematch featured Van taking shots at Pantoja, who didn\u2019t take
\nkindly to the disrespect.<\/p>\n
