\nUFC Freedom 250<\/a> by finishing Pereira, is no longer on track for
\na title unification bout with Aspinall, whose Octagon return has

Pereira is gunning for a rematch with Gane and recently took to
\nsocial media to poke holes in the champ\u2019s record.<\/p>\n

Pereira shared a post on Instagram of a graphic questioning Gane\u2019s
\nUFC record. He accompanied his post with the caption: \u201cChampion,\u201d
\nfollowed by three laughing emojis.<\/p>\n

The post referenced Gane\u2019s previous heavyweight title losses
\nagainst Francis
\nNgannou<\/a> and Jon Jones<\/a>, as
\nwell as his controversial victory over Alexander
\nVolkov<\/a> in their rematch, which many scored in favor of the
\nRussian. It also highlighted Pereira\u2019s own loss to Gane, wherein
\n\u201cPoatan\u201d alleges multiple illegal back-of-the-head shots were
\nlanded.<\/p>\n

Josh
\nHokit<\/a> has been rumored as the next opponent for Gane. The
\nunbeaten American has shut down any possibility of Pereira getting
\nthe next title shot. He reacted to a recently taken image of
\nPereira, all smiles, with UFC exec Hunter Campbell, claiming the
\nformer two-division champ isn\u2019t in the running for a shot at
\nheavyweight gold.<\/p>\n
