Sean Sharaf hands Gable Steveson his first MMA loss in stunning
\nUFC 331 upset<\/h2>\n

Heavy betting favorite Steveson entered the matchup unbeaten at
\n4-0, while Sharaf was 0-2 in the UFC. The latter uncorked a left
\nhook early in the fight, putting the former to sleep. Steveson\u2019s
\nmentor, Jones, watched on and his reaction to the knockout is
\ncirculating online.<\/p>\n

The former two-division UFC champion seemingly said, \u201cOh, my God!\u201d
\nwhile looking at his fellow cornermen.<\/p>\n

Steveson dismissed Sharaf as a threat in the lead-up to the fight,
\nrelegating him to just a stepping stone towards his championship
\naspirations. \u201cThe Smoke\u201d even provoked the polarizing Olympian at
\nthe pre-fight presser, bringing up past controversies that have
\nturned many against him.<\/p>\n
