Baraniewski was a heavy -250<br \/>\nfavorite going into his biggest step up in competition so far.<\/p>\n<div id=\"adViAi\">\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Iwo Baraniewski reflects on Alonzo Menifield loss at UFC<br \/>\n331<\/h2>\n<p>Having never seen the second round in his career before UFC 331,<br \/>\nBaraniewski came out all guns blazing, looking to finish Menifield<br \/>\nin the first round. However, Menifield weathered the early storm<br \/>\nand started gaining momentum in the second round. \u201cAtomic\u201d braved<br \/>\nthrough the third round, fighting with an injured thumb to earn a<br \/>\nsplit-decision victory.<\/p>\n<p>This was Baraniewski\u2019s first professional loss. However, the<br \/>\n27-year-old says this isn\u2019t the first time he\u2019s experienced<br \/>\nfailure. \u201cRudy\u201d wants to take some time to recover and vows to<br \/>\nreturn stronger.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy first professional loss, but not my first in life,\u201d Baraniewski<br \/>\nwrote on Instagram. \u201cI\u2019ll take a moment to rest, and I\u2019ll come back<br \/>\nstronger.
