\nAnkalaev<\/a> is willing to fight Paulo Costa<\/a>
\ndespite considering it a lose-lose scenario.<\/p>\n

Costa is currently amidst a falling-out with the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> over the last fight on his
\ncurrent contract. The Brazilian has repeatedly called out the
\npromotion online while campaigning for a fight. Former champ
\nMagomed
\nAnkalaev<\/a> has now offered a solution.<\/p>\n

Ankalaev offers to serve as Costa\u2019s final fight under his
\ncurrent UFC contract<\/h2>\n

Costa\u2019s latest gripe with the UFC involved being offered a
\nshort-notice five-round fight for no additional pay. While Costa is
\nwilling to accept a five-round fight, he wants to be compensated
\naccordingly and have ample time to prepare for a 25-minute bout.
\nFurthermore, he\u2019s taken shots at UFC exec Hunter Campbell and asked
\nfor his release multiple times.<\/p>\n

Ankalaev has offered to be the last fight on Costa\u2019s current
\ncontract. The former light heavyweight champ believes Costa has
\nnothing to lose, as his stock will skyrocket with a win as he
\nenters free agency. Ankalaev believes he doesn\u2019t have much to gain
\nfrom the matchup, as he\u2019ll likely be the favorite, but is still
\nopen to fighting \u201cBorrachinha.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nwrote on X. \u201cI beat you, everybody expected me to beat you anyway.
\nYou have nothing to lose. I\u2019m your get-out-of-jail-free card. Let\u2019s
\nfight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Costa is coming off back-to-back finishes, while Ankalaev returned
\nto winning ways against Bogdan
\nGuskov<\/a> after losing the title in his rematch with Alex
\nPereira<\/a>.<\/p>\n
