\nseemingly the frontrunner for a shot at UFC gold, can\u2019t wait to
\nfight Van as he favors the matchup stylistically.<\/p>\n

Manel Kape sees UFC champion Joshua Van\u2019s striking style as an
\nideal matchup<\/h2>\n

Van has faced wrestling-heavy fighters in his two title defenses so
\nfar, finishing Tatsuro
\nTaira<\/a> and going the distance with Alexandre
\nPantoja<\/a> in a five-round war. Kape, one of the best strikers in
\nthe division, can\u2019t wait to dissect Van\u2019s boxing-centric fighting
\nstyle and he claims he\u2019ll make it look effortless.<\/p>\n

The California State Athletic Commission released the fight night
\nweights for all UFC 331 fighters. Van weighed 145.8 pounds on fight
\nnight, gaining 20.8 pounds after weighing in at 125 pounds. Kape
\nclaims he\u2019ll be as heavy as 160 pounds on fight night.<\/p>\n
