Justin
\nGaethje<\/a>\u2019s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, believes Ilia
\nTopuria<\/a> has no say in whether an immediate rematch happens.<\/p>\n

Topuria suffered the first loss of his professional career against
\nGaethje, losing the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> lightweight title at
\nUFC Freedom 250<\/a> in June. Topuria has since pushed for a
\nrematch. Abdelaziz, however, dismissed the possibility.<\/p>\n

Ali Abdelaziz says Justin Gaethje has nothing to gain from an
\nimmediate Ilia Topuria rematch<\/h2>\n

Talking with Submission Radio, Abdelaziz emphasized that Topuria
\ndoesn\u2019t have the power to call for an immediate rematch. He further
\nclaimed that Gaethje simply has the Georgian-Spaniard\u2019s number and
\nwill beat him again should they run it back.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe’s not fighting Justin Gaethje next,\u201d Abdelaziz said. \u201cHe
\ndoesn’t call the shots. Only one guy in the past did that and his
\nname is Conor
\nMcGregor<\/a> and he’s not Conor McGregor. Nobody is. He was a
\nfavorite because everybody thought he was better than Justin. I
\nbelieve Justin Gaethje will beat him nine out of 10 times. You know
\nwhy? Justin has his number. I don’t think he can beat Justin
\nGaethje. He thinks he can, and he should think he can. He was close
\nto beating Justin Gaethje, but he didn’t. At the end of the day,
\nthis fight will never happen. I can tell you this: Justin Gaethje
\nhas zero gain to beat Ilia Topuria again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Abdelaziz then addressed Topuria\u2019s claim that Gaethje had something
\nunusual in his gloves during their fight.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf this is what he wants to say that he had rocks in his gloves,
\nthat’s a compliment to Justin Gaethje; how hard he punches,\u201d
\nAbdelaziz said. \u201cI’m not going to be insulted by that, because the
\nLas Vegas Commission was there, the D.C. Commission was there,
\nAndy
\nFoster<\/a> from California was there. He had three commissions
\nwatching him about the gloves. But he said that (during) Arman’s
\nfight week to take away from Arman and Ruffy’s hype. This is what
\nConor used to do, and he did a good job. He got himself in the
\nmedia.\u201d<\/p>\n
