Dana
\nWhite<\/a> has addressed Paulo
\nCosta<\/a>\u2019s frustration with the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Costa recently slammed UFC exec Hunter Campbell after he was
\nseemingly offered a short-notice five-round bout for the final
\nfight of his current contract. While the former title challenger is
\nopen to accepting a five-rounder, he wants to be compensated
\naccordingly and have ample time to prepare for a 25-minute bout.
\nThe Brazilian has even repeatedly requested his release from the
\npromotion.<\/p>\n

Paulo Costa says he wants his final UFC fight as Dana White
\npoints to offers he turned down<\/h2>\n

When asked about Costa\u2019s comments following
\nWeek 7<\/a> of
\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a>, White acknowledged the fighter\u2019s
\nfrustration but revealed that \u201cBorrachinha\u201d has turned down several
\nfights.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, yeah. [Paulo is] frustrated, yeah,\u201d White said. \u201cHe’s been
\noffered fights and turned them down. We don’t just say, ‘f*ck Paulo
\nCosta,’ and, ‘you’re not going to get a fight,’ and ‘no, we’re not
\ngoing to pay you,’ and ‘no, we’re not going to do this.’ Guys get
\noffered three fights a year regularly, even guys who aren’t
\nfighting. Tom
\nAspinall<\/a>‘s eyes are messed up. He’s getting offered fights. You
\nthink Paulo Costa isn’t getting offered fights?\u201d<\/p>\n

Costa previously called for an interim title fight amidst light
\nheavyweight champ Carlos
\nUlberg<\/a>\u2019s rehabilitation from injury, but later claimed the UFC
\nwasn\u2019t interested. Most recently, he was called out by former champ
\nMagomed
\nAnkalaev<\/a>.<\/p>\n
