Eddie Hearn didn\u2019t hold back after Dana
\nWhite<\/a>\u2019s name was featured in Netflix\u2019s press release for

\nFury<\/a> vs. Anthony
\nJoshua<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fury and Joshua are set to clash on Dec. 11 at Principality Stadium
\nin Cardiff, Wales, with the matchup streaming on Netflix. The
\nfight\u2019s location had been a major talking point during
\nnegotiations, with Hearn pushing for the United Kingdom while
\nFury\u2019s side campaigned for Madison Square Garden in New York.<\/p>\n

Netflix\u2019s Fury-Joshua announcement puts Dana White at center of
\ndispute with Eddie Hearn<\/h2>\n

Netflix\u2019s announcement described the bout as a co-promotion between
\nTurki Alalshikh\u2019s The Ring and White, but did not mention Hearn or
\nMatchroom Boxing, who represent Joshua, or Frank Warren and
\nQueensberry, who represent Fury.<\/p>\n

Hearn, speaking with IFL TV, immediately disputed White\u2019s
\ninvolvement while pointing to the agreement surrounding the
\nfight.<\/p>\n

\u201cDana White cannot be involved in this fight,\u201d Hearn said. \u201cNetflix
\nclearly didn\u2019t get the memo. You see, no one talks to each other.
\nSo, I speak to Sela and Turki, \u2018No, Dana White is not involved in
\nthe fight, you’ve got a contract that says that, he won’t be at the
\npresser, blah, blah, blah.\u2019 And then Netflix says the fight’s in
\nconjunction with Dana White.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hearn then slammed White over the previous negotiations and his
\ninsistence that the fight would take place in New York.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou came in and was like, \u2018Yeah, we’ll just take this fight, the
\nbiggest fight in the history of British boxing, one of the biggest
\nsporting events in the history of Britain and we’ll just put it in
\nMadison Square Garden.\u2019 Well, guess what, motherf*cker? That didn’t
\nhappen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hearn further emphasized that he intends to remind Netflix of the
\ncontractual obligations.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’ll be speaking to Netflix just to remind them of their
\ncontractual obligations, and it’ll be dealt with,\u201d Hearn added. \u201cWe
\nwon the race; the fight is happening in the U.K. and on we go.\u201d<\/p>\n

The comments come after months of public back-and-forth between
\nHearn and White over Fury-Joshua. White previously accused Hearn of
\nhurting the negotiations and said the fight was close to falling
\napart.<\/p>\n
