However, he has been<br \/>\npulled from the fight due to an undisclosed medical issue. Recent<br \/>\n<a rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sherdog.com\/organizations\/Dana-Whites-Contender-Series-12411\"><br \/>\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a> graduate <a rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sherdog.com\/fighter\/Luis-Hernandez-371502\">Luis<br \/>\nHernandez<\/a> has now stepped up to face Dumas on short notice.<\/p>\n<div id=\"adViAi\">\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Mickey Gall says a pre-fight medical issue made him ineligible<br \/>\nto face Sedriques Dumas<\/h2>\n<p>Gall claims the UFC pulled him from the fight. He said the UFC<br \/>\ninformed him on Sept. 24 that something on his pre-fight medical<br \/>\ntests made him ineligible to fight. Gall is disappointed as he was<br \/>\nlooking forward to giving his fans a win, having not won since<br \/>\n2021. The 34-year-old vows to be back once he has got the situation<br \/>\nsorted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have been pulled back from this fight by the UFC,\u201d Gall said on<br \/>\nInstagram. \u201cI was contacted this morning. Something came back on my<br \/>\nmedicals that [is] making me ineligible via simple procedure. I<br \/>\nwill be back. It sucks. I have overcome a lot to be here. And it\u2019s<br \/>\nnot lost on me that I\u2019ve done a lot of losing in there. I wanted to<br \/>\ngive my friends, my family, my fans something to cheer about. And<br \/>\nI\u2019ve worked really hard for that. Unfortunately, that\u2019s not gonna<br \/>\nbe able to happen this weekend. But once I get this situated and<br \/>\nstraightened out, I will be back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gall (7-7) made his UFC debut in just his sophomore professional<br \/>\nouting in 2016. After a promising start with three consecutive<br \/>\nfinishes, Gall then alternated between wins and losses.
