\nDumont<\/a>\u2019s rivalry further escalated after their clash on
\nSaturday.<\/p>\n

Perez secured a unanimous decision over Dumont at Meta APEX in Las
\nVegas on Sept. 26, with all three judges scoring the bout 29-28 in
\nher favor. The decision drew criticism online, with many arguing
\nthat Dumont deserved the nod.<\/p>\n

Ailin Perez and Norma Dumont keep their bitter rivalry alive
\nafter UFC Vegas 121<\/h2>\n

The animosity was palpable going into the fight and continued after
\nthe final horn. They previously traded barbs online, with Perez
\ninstigating some pre-fight drama by roping in Dumont’s boyfriend,
\n
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> middleweight Marco
\nTulio<\/a>. Dumont then threw condoms and money at Perez during the
\npre-fight faceoff ahead of
\nUFC Vegas 121<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Following her decision win, Perez took another shot at Dumont on
\nInstagram.<\/p>\n

\u201cThanks for the condoms [Norma Dumont], but I did not need to use
\nthem to f*ck you,\u201d Perez wrote on her Instagram stories. \u201cAlso, use
\nthose 2 dollars to buy a Plan B, I think you might need it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dumont, meanwhile, maintained that she deserved the victory and
\nsuggested Perez’s reaction spoke for itself.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was going at it with her, trading blows and talking trash the
\nwhole time,\u201d Dumont said in Portuguese in an Instagram story (via
\nMMA Junkie<\/a>). \u201cShe was desperate. She didn’t
\nhave a prayer against me. I’m at peace and fully confident that I
\nwon. There’s not a shadow of a doubt. She knows it too; that’s why
\nshe was so desperate. Honestly, considering the absurd things I’ve
\nseen in MMA regarding results, I didn’t think it would go my
\nway.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dumont later shared an image of the official decision and
\ncontrasted her expression with Perez’s reaction at the final
\nhorn.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook at the expression of someone who knows they’ve lost. She
\ndidn’t even believe the result,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

The result extended Perez\u2019s winning streak to seven and handed
\nDumont her second consecutive defeat.<\/p>\n
