The bantamweight finale of the latest season of \u201cThe Ultimate
\nFighter\u201d ended in a disqualification, but Dustin
\nPoirier<\/a> has questioned the victor\u2019s reaction to the foul.<\/p>\n

\nAkylbek Uulu<\/a> won the \u201cTUF\u201d 34 championship after Mehemmedali
\nOsmanli<\/a> was disqualified for landing an illegal knee to a
\ngrounded opponent at 2:19 of the opening round of their clash at
\n
\nUFC Vegas 121<\/a> at Meta APEX in Las Vegas. Poirier, however,
\nquestioned Uulu\u2019s reaction to the illegal blow.<\/p>\n

Dustin Poirier questions Ilimbek Akylbek Uulu\u2019s reaction to
\nillegal knee<\/h2>\n

Poirier discussed the foul that ended the fight alongside Jorge
\nMasvidal<\/a> and Chris
\nWeidman<\/a> on \u201cDeep Water.\u201d On the replay, Uulu appeared to reach
\nfor Osmanli\u2019s leg before the referee intervened.<\/p>\n

Poirier claimed that Uulu\u2019s reaction changed once he realized the
\nfight was being stopped. The former interim champion and Masvidal
\nviewed the sequence as an exaggerated response, joking that it was
\na \u201cflop\u201d and comparing the moment to an awards-show
\nperformance.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere, when he\u2019s about to build up on a single leg, his brain
\nstarts working and he\u2019s like, \u2018Oh, I just won ‘The Ultimate
\nFighter’ if I flop,\u2019 and he flopped,\u201d Poirier said while reviewing
\nthe clip. \u201cYeah, come on, this is the Oscars. That\u2019s a flop.\u201d<\/p>\n

Masvidal echoed Poirier\u2019s views, while Weidman did not take a
\nposition on whether Uulu exaggerated his reaction. Osmanli has also
\naccused Uulu of exaggerating the effects of the illegal strike.<\/p>\n
