\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a> Season 10 featured just four
\nfights due to a last-minute cancellation.<\/p>\n

Ilias
\nBulaid<\/a> and Erick
\nVisconde<\/a> were scheduled to kick off the card in a featherweight
\nbout Tuesday at Meta APEX in Las Vegas. However, the bout fell
\nthrough at the 11th hour after Bulaid fell ill despite making
\nweight. The matchup has been postponed to
\nWeek 10<\/a> of DWCS 2026.<\/p>\n

Dana White blasted Adama Diop\u2019s performance before awarding him
\na UFC contract at DWCS Week 8<\/h2>\n

Aieza
\nRamos Bertolso<\/a> (8-0) took on Camila
\nReynoso<\/a> (9-2) in a strawweight matchup. Bertolso dominated
\nReynoso in all aspects before forcing her to tap to a Brabo choke
\nin the first round.<\/p>\n

While she was a -500 favorite going into the fight,
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> CEO Dana
\nWhite<\/a> initially didn\u2019t believe the odds. However, White
\nadmitted that Bertolso proved the oddsmakers correct with her
\ndominant showing.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s start with Aieza\u2026 So, you looked great on your feet, you
\nlooked great on the ground,\u201d White said while awarding Bertolso a
\nUFC contract. \u201cYou\u2019re 8-0, 25 years old; you were a 5-1 favorite. I
\ndon\u2019t believe anybody is a 5-1 favorite, especially here at the
\nContender Series. You were definitely a 5-1 favorite. You looked
\namazing. And I think you\u2019re gonna be a great addition to the
\n115-pound division. Welcome to the UFC.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ian
\nEscuza<\/a> (8-0) earned a controversial stoppage victory in his
\nfeatherweight bout against Luca
\nBorando<\/a> (9-2). Escuza dropped Borando with a knee and followed
\nwith a flurry to secure the stoppage in just 32 seconds. During the
\nfinishing sequence, Escuza landed another knee to a grounded
\nBorando.<\/p>\n

White said he believed the fight should have been ruled a no
\ncontest. While he was reluctant to give Escuza a contract, UFC
\nmatchmaker Sean Shelby went to bat for the undefeated Peruvian.<\/p>\n

\u201cIan, unfortunately for you, I disagree with the athletic
\ncommission,\u201d White said. \u201cI think this fight should have been a no
\ncontest. It was an illegal knee. I don\u2019t think it was intentional.
\nBut not the way it should have played out. I don\u2019t know how you get
\nin here on a DQ or a no contest. But let me tell you this: Sean
\nShelby just fought hard for you in the back. Sean Shelby said,
\n\u2018This guy is great; he is very talented.\u2019 Don\u2019t make Sean regret
\nthis. Welcome to the UFC.\u201d<\/p>\n

White handed out UFC contracts to all four winners Tuesday night.
\nAdama
\nDiop<\/a> (7-1) failed to impress the UFC boss despite scoring a
\nstoppage victory over Zaurbek
\nSabanov<\/a> (5-1). White said he believes Diop will get knocked out
\nby UFC heavyweights if he fights the way he did Tuesday. However,
\nhe gave the 31-year-old Senegalese a UFC contract with a stern
\nwarning.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlright, big guy [Adama Diop], your fight was horrible, sloppy and
\none of the worst fights I have ever seen on the Contender Series,\u201d
\nWhite said. \u201cYour stand-up is horrible; you tried to wrestle your
\nway to a win till the crowd started booing you out of this place.
\nAnd if you fought in the UFC, a UFC heavyweight will knock your *ss
\nout the way this kid didn\u2019t and get the win. And here\u2019s the even
\nbigger problem: you\u2019re 31 years old. If you don\u2019t get this
\nopportunity tonight, what are you gonna do? Where are you gonna end
\nup? How\u2019s it gonna go? Don\u2019t f*cking make me regret this.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nPimblett<\/a>\u2019s teammate, George
\nStaines<\/a> (9-0), scored a slam knockout against Loai
\nAbushaar<\/a> (7-2) in the main event. White was impressed with
\nStaines\u2019 dominant performance against his 6-foot-4 lightweight
\nopponent.<\/p>\n

\u201cGeorge, you were up against a massive guy at 155 pounds and you
\nabsolutely destroyed him,\u201d White said. \u201cOne of the greatest
\nfinishes ever; you made it look easy. Congratulations and welcome
\nto the UFC.\u201d<\/p>\n
