The
\nPFL MENA 11<\/a> headliner featured the rubber match between
\n205-pounders Mostafa
\nRashed Nada<\/a> and Osama
\nElSeady<\/a> (9-4, 0-2 PFL). Elseady made his in-cage return
\nfollowing a nearly three-year hiatus, showing some cage rust in his
\ntakedowns and attempts to stall the action on the canvas whenever
\npossible. In turn, Nada (10-4, 3-1 PFL) reached his opponent\u2019s chin
\nwith his right hand on different occasions, with Elseady easily
\ndropping to the canvas whenever Nada connected.<\/p>\n

In the second frame, Nada found more success with his strikes, as
\nfellow former Desert Force titleholder Elseady repeatedly dove for
\ntakedowns. After Elseady’s umpteenth takedown attempt, Nada
\nsprawled and countered with a guillotine choke. After adjusting his
\nposition, Nada forced Elseady to tap at the 2:33 mark of Round 2.
\nWith the victory, Nada sealed the 10-year trilogy and earned the
\nthird submission win of his career.<\/p>\n

\nDiani<\/a> (12-4, 5-1 PFL) submitted International Mixed Martial
\nArts Federation medalist Hazem
\nKayyali<\/a> (3-1-2, 1-1 PFL) and earned a spot in the 170-pound
\ntournament final on Dec. 11. Former UAE Warriors titleholder Diani
\nwas on the receiving end of his foe\u2019s initiative in the opening
\nframe, where he had to defend several submission attempts. In Round
\n2, Kayyali landed a well-timed jumping kick and went for a
\nguillotine choke, but Diani weathered the storm and pursued a
\nsubmission of his own: a tight arm-triangle choke that forced
\nKayyali to tap at 3:05 of the second stanza.<\/p>\n

In the other welterweight semifinal on the card,
\nBrave Combat Federation<\/a> veteran Abdelkrim
\nZouad<\/a> (9-2, 2-0 PFL) upended Omar
\nHussein<\/a> (12-8, 1-3 PFL) on all scorecards (29-28, 30-27,

At 155 pounds, Ylies
\nDjiroun<\/a> (26-9, 2-2 PFL) spoiled the perfect record of Assem
\nGhanem<\/a> (7-1, 1-1 PFL) and reached the tournament final. \u201cBroly\u201d
\nstopped an ill-advised takedown attempt by Ghanem, pushed his
\nopponent against the cage and unloaded a series of punches that
\nforced the referee to halt the action at 3:06 of the opening
\nstanza. Ghanem took the fight on short notice after Basel
\nAhmed Shalaan<\/a> missed weight the day before.<\/p>\n

In December, Djiroun will lock horns with 2025 finalist Mohammad
\nFahmi<\/a> (7-1, 3-1 PFL), who reached the tournament final for the
\nsecond year in a row after outclassing Egypt\u2019s Ahmed El
\nSisy<\/a> (8-3, 1 NC; 2-2 PFL) en route to a unanimous decision
\n(29-28, 29-28, 30-27).<\/p>\n

In the only 145-pound semifinal on the card, Mehdi Saadi<\/a>
\n(8-2, 2-0 PFL) edged Shadi
\nKabbani<\/a> (5-1, 1-1 PFL) via a narrow split decision (29-28,
\n29-28, 28-29). The Tunisian fighter came close to finishing his
\nopponent with a kneebar in the opening frame. Former
\nAres Fighting Championship<\/a> title challenger Saadi will face
\nElias
\nBoudegzdame<\/a> (21-9, 2-1 PFL) in the tournament final.<\/p>\n

Boudegzdame was supposed to take on Islam
\nYoussef<\/a> at the event, but his opponent was forced to withdraw
\nbecause of visa issues. Youssef\u2019s replacement, Brice
\nPicaud<\/a>, couldn\u2019t compete because of weight-cutting issues,
\nallowing Boudegzdame to advance to the tournament final without
\nfighting.<\/p>\n

In the only WMMA action on the card, Fatima Al
\nAmmari<\/a> stopped Aya Lounes<\/a>
\nwith a knee followed by punches at 1:05 of the second frame.<\/p>\n
