Ribovics (17-3) stopped Green (36-18-1, 1 NC) in the first round of
\ntheir
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> catchweight bout at UFC
\n332<\/a> on Oct. 3 in Salt Lake City, knocking down the veteran
\nthree times before referee Herb Dean<\/a>
\nstopped the fight.<\/p>\n

Esteban Ribovics details heated confrontation with King Green
\nand Arnold Barboza Jr.<\/h2>\n

Tensions between the fighters escalated after Ribovics narrowly
\nmissed weight. The Argentine lightweight\u2019s team then clashed with
\nGreen\u2019s entourage, including professional boxer Arnold Barboza Jr.,
\nbefore the ceremonial weigh-ins.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Hablemos MMA in Spanish, Ribovics said the prefight
\ntension made the victory particularly rewarding.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, you can say it’s the most satisfying victory of my career
\nbecause this was the first time they tried to bully me and treat me
\ndisrespectfully,\u201d Ribovics said. \u201cSo yeah, at that moment, I was
\ntelling him like, ‘Shut your mouth or keep talking,’ something like
\nthat. I don’t remember. They were outside and I confronted Barboza
\nand that’s when Green stepped in and pushed me. They don’t need to
\ntouch me and surrounded us with his team. That’s when respect flew
\nout the window. They tried to bully me and tried to be the bad
\nboys. They were saying we could fight here in the streets. Come on,
\nman. Shut up.”<\/p>\n
