Costa is disputing the terms of the final bout on his UFC contract.
\n\u201cBorrachinha\u201d has criticized the promotion for offering five-round
\nfights without additional compensation. The Brazilian wants to
\ncomplete his contract and has hinted on social media at competing
\nelsewhere.<\/p>\n

Paulo Costa hints at fighting outside UFC while disputing
\nfinal-bout contract terms<\/h2>\n

Costa (16-4) said he had received no recent update from the UFC but
\nremained determined to compete this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cNothing from the UFC,\u201d Costa wrote on X. \u201cI\u2019m going to fight at an
\nevent at the end of the year. I\u2019m in great shape and in my prime.
\nI\u2019m going to do what I love\u2014fight somewhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

Costa is coming off victories over Roman
\nKopylov<\/a> and previously unbeaten Azamat
\nMurzakanov<\/a>. He previously sought an interim light heavyweight
\ntitle fight while champion Carlos
\nUlberg<\/a> recovers from injury, but no bout materialized.<\/p>\n
