\nWhite<\/a>\u2019s suggestion that difficulties with matchmakers or
\ndeclined fights could explain his brother\u2019s departure.<\/p>\n

Javid Basharat says Farid waited three months without UFC
\ncontract talks and never refused fights<\/h2>\n

White was asked about Farid\u2019s departure at the
\nUFC Edmonton<\/a> postfight press conference. He suggested there
\nwere reasons beyond Farid\u2019s results for the decision not to renew
\nhis contract but did not identify a specific incident.<\/p>\n

Farid responded on his Instagram Stories.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of assumptions made, but no facts were said,\u201d Farid wrote.
\n\u201cI definitely wasn\u2019t turning down fights.\u201d<\/p>\n

Javid echoed his brother\u2019s response, saying they had not discussed
\na contract renewal with the promotion.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can vouch that no fights were turned down nor were we hard to
\ndeal with as a matter of fact we have never had a conversation with
\nregard to renewing the contract,\u201d Javid wrote. \u201cWe patiently waited
\n3 months and we found out when everyone else found out!\u201d<\/p>\n
