\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> appearance.<\/p>\n

Belgaroui will enter the matchup after winning his first three
\nUFC fights by technical knockout. He is scheduled to face Borralho
\nat UFC
\n334<\/a> on Nov. 14, giving him an opportunity to build on that
\nstart against an established contender.<\/p>\n

Glover Teixeira credits Yousri Belgaroui’s extra grappling work
\nahead of Caio Borralho at UFC 334<\/h2>\n

Teixeira, Belgaroui\u2019s head coach, said his fighter\u2019s willingness
\nto spend extra time wrestling and practicing jiu-jitsu has been
\ncentral to his development.<\/p>\n

\u201cYousri trains a lot and picks things up very quickly. And he
\nlikes training on the ground. Sometimes we finish training,
\neveryone is tired, and he grabs someone doing wrestling or
\njiu-jitsu and rolls for another 20 minutes,\u201d Teixeira said.<\/p>\n

The matchup presents a test of whether Belgaroui can combine his
\nstriking skills with the grappling improvements his coach has
\ndescribed. Teixeira, who is releasing a book
\nbased on his life story in December titled “Breaking the
\nrules,”<\/a> pointed to his distance control and increasing comfort
\non the ground as reasons for confidence.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne step at a time. Caio is without a doubt one of the biggest
\nchallenges in the division, but Yousri has an impressive sense of
\ndistance and is getting more and more confident in his grappling.
\nThere’s no doubt he’s becoming a complete MMA fighter and he’ll be
\nvery well prepared for this fight,\u201d Teixeira said.<\/p>\n

Borralho brings considerably more UFC experience into the
\ncontest. He defeated Reinier
\nde Ridder<\/a> by unanimous decision in March.<\/p>\n

For Belgaroui, the bout offers a chance to strengthen his
\nposition in the middleweight division. Teixeira\u2019s assessment
\ncenters on the work behind his finishes, particularly his
\ncommitment to developing the ground skills needed against more
