Merab
\nDvalishvili<\/a> is eager to reclaim the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> bantamweight title.<\/p>\n

The former champion will challenge Petr Yan<\/a> in a
\ntrilogy bout at
\nUFC 333<\/a> on Oct. 24 at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. He\u2019s looking
\nto avenge his December 2025 loss to the Russian and recapture the
\n135-pound championship.<\/p>\n

Merab Dvalishvili aims to reclaim UFC bantamweight title in
\nPetr Yan trilogy at UFC 333<\/h2>\n

Dvalishvili was attempting his fourth successful title defense of
\n2025 when he lost his rematch with Yan. \u201cThe Machine\u201d says he feels
\nhealthy and refreshed ahead of their third meeting.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really hungry now this time,\u201d Dvalishvili said in a prefight
\ninterview. \u201cMy body is fine, and I\u2019m good\u2026 Even when I was busy, I
\nnever complained because I\u2019m a fighter and even if something
\nbothers me, I\u2019m gonna show up and I\u2019m gonna fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both previous meetings ended in unanimous decisions, with
\nDvalishvili dominating their first encounter in 2023 and Yan
\nwinning the rematch last year. Dvalishvili says he\u2019s been \u201cworking
\nsmart\u201d to deliver his best at UFC 333.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are fighting three times,\u201d Dvalishvili added. \u201cFirst fight, it
\nwas one-sided. I win. Second fight, it was one-sided but not very
\nfor me\u2026 This time I believe I’m gonna win this fight because I
\nbelieve I’m much better than him and I have to prove it. I’ve been
\nworking hard. I’ve been working smart and all I have to do is just
\nshow up and do my thing.\u201d<\/p>\n
