Smith is coming off a first-round knockout of Bruce
\nWhitehead<\/a> at UFC
\n332<\/a> on Oct. 3. The 30-year-old needed just 92 seconds to
\nimprove his professional record to 13-0. He now faces a more
\nexperienced opponent in Brown, who has competed in the UFC since
\n2016.<\/p>\n

Brown has made 22 UFC appearances and is coming off consecutive
\nlosses to Gabriel
\nBonfim<\/a> and Kevin
\nHolland<\/a>. According to Marcel Dorff<\/a>, \u201cRude Boy\u201d will face Smith, who is 4-0
\nin the UFC after earning a contract on
\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The welterweights are slated to meet at
\nUFC Fight Night 292<\/a> on Oct. 31 at Meta Apex in Las Vegas. A
\nlightweight matchup between Renato
\n\u201cMoney\u201d Moicano<\/a> and Tom Nolan<\/a>
\nheadlines the card.<\/p>\n
