\nthe line.<\/p>\n

Allen submitted Christian
\nLeroy Duncan<\/a> in his last bout, extending his
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> winning streak to four. The
\nvictory strengthened \u201cAll In\u201d\u2019s case for a title shot and raised
\nthe possibility of a clash with his friend, Chimaev. However, Allen
\nsaid they have an agreement governing a potential matchup.<\/p>\n

Brendan Allen explains title-only fight agreement with Khamzat
\nChimaev<\/h2>\n

Allen discussed the arrangement during an appearance on MMA Junkie
\nRadio, saying their friendship wouldn\u2019t prevent them from sharing
\nthe Octagon in a championship bout.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have the agreement that we\u2019re not going to fight each other
\nunless it\u2019s for gold,\u201d Allen said. \u201cSo, if it\u2019s for the belt, then
\nwe\u2019re gonna fight. Fighting for the belt changes my life, and it
\nchanges my family\u2019s. Everyone that I\u2019ve ever come in contact with
\nknows that about me: if it\u2019s for a belt, there\u2019s no questions
\nthat\u2019s gonna be asked from my end.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chimaev suffered his first professional defeat in May, losing the
\nUFC middleweight title to Sean
\nStrickland<\/a> at
\nUFC 328<\/a>. \u201cBorz\u201d has sought a rematch, but Nassourdine
\nImavov<\/a> appears positioned to receive the next title shot.
\nMeanwhile, Allen called out former champion Dricus Du
\nPlessis<\/a> after beating Duncan at
\nUFC Vegas 122<\/a>.<\/p>\n
