\nCormier<\/a>\u2019s commentary during his latest victory, prompting a
\nsocial media exchange with the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> Hall of Famer.<\/p>\n

Reyes stopped Azamat
\nMurzakanov<\/a> at 2:40 of the first round in the featured
\npreliminary bout at
\nUFC 333<\/a> on Saturday in Abu Dhabi. He landed a head kick
\nfollowed by a straight left and finishing punches. Afterward, Reyes
\naccused Cormier of disrespecting him by referring to him as \u201ckid\u201d
\nduring the broadcast.<\/p>\n

Dominick Reyes accuses Daniel Cormier of biased commentary
\nafter UFC 333 victory over Azamat Murzakanov<\/h2>\n

Reyes took aim at Cormier on X, calling the former two-division
\nchampion a \u201clow IQ hater\u201d and objecting to what he perceived as
\ndisrespect toward his accomplishments. Cormier responded that he
\nintended no offense.<\/p>\n

\u201cYo Dom, chill,\u201d Cormier wrote in response. \u201cI don\u2019t call you kid
\nnegatively. I\u2019ve only spoke truth to you. When you do amazing shit
\nlike you did today, I praise you. If you do something like the last
\nfight with Johnny, I speak the truth about that, too.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reyes questioned Cormier\u2019s preparation for his commentary role.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy name is Dominick, not \u2018kid,\u2019\u201d Reyes wrote in another post. \u201cI\u2019m
\nbothered by your lack of research and knowledge whilst
\ncommentating. Your \u2018expert\u2019 commentary sways the opinions of
\naverage fans, and that has a profound effect on our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re tripping, bud, and honestly I\u2019ll just find you for a
\nconversation,\u201d Cormier responded. \u201cI actually like you. I told your
\nteam how amazing you looked tonight. This may have been your best
\nperformance. But this is insane. Just stop! Seriously.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reyes replied that his objection concerned Cormier\u2019s work rather
\nthan their personal relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not your buddy, guy,\u201d Reyes wrote. \u201cBut seriously, I don\u2019t
\ncare if you like me, truly. I only care that you have unbiased,
\nwell-informed color commentary.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reyes later struck a more conciliatory tone, acknowledging that the
\ncommentary team, like the fighters, was doing its best.<\/p>\n
