Ditcheva (16-0) says she has been cleared to resume training after
\nundergoing surgery on both hands, which she broke during her
\nunanimous decision victory over Denise
\nKielholtz<\/a> in July. The injuries sidelined the undefeated Brit
\nwhile Bishop defeated Liz
\nCarmouche<\/a> at
\nPFL Chicago<\/a> to become the inaugural
\nProfessional Fighters League<\/a> women\u2019s flyweight world
\nchampion.<\/p>\n

Dakota Ditcheva resumes training, targets rematch with PFL
\nchampion Jena Bishop<\/h2>\n

Ditcheva has focused on grappling while easing back into striking.
\n\u201cDangerous\u201d previously suffered a hand injury during her victory
\nover Sumiko
\nInaba<\/a> last year, but said her latest recovery progressed much
\nfaster, allowing her to return about nine weeks after surgery.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m good, I’m all clear,\u201d Ditcheva told Ariel Helwani. \u201cI’m back
\nat training now, so yeah, I’m ready to go. I’m just waiting for a
\ndate for the belt. I want my belt back. I’ve been grappling for a
\nfew weeks now. I just kind of took my time a little bit with the
\nstriking. I haven’t got a fight coming up, so I thought, let me
\njust focus on the grappling; now Jena\u2019s the person with the belt. I
\nhealed so quickly this time\u2026 It was like nine weeks since surgery,
\nwhich is really quick.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ditcheva has finished 13 of her 16 career victories, including a
\nfirst-round technical knockout of Bishop in their 2024 meeting.<\/p>\n
