Vallejos revealed that he signed a new deal ahead of his pivotal
\nclash against Aljamain
\nSterling<\/a> at
\nUFC Qatar<\/a> on Nov. 21 at ABHA Arena in Doha. The Argentine also
\nclaims a title shot awaits if he beats the former bantamweight
\nchampion.<\/p>\n

Kevin Vallejos signs new UFC deal before Aljamain Sterling
\nfight, claims victory would earn Alexander Volkanovski title
\nshot<\/h2>\n

Vallejos (18-1) announced the agreement in a pair of social media
\nposts.<\/p>\n

\u201cWE just signed a new deal with the UFC,\u201d Vallejos wrote on X. \u201cI
\ncan\u2019t believe how much money I\u2019m getting paid to fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

After defending his title at
\nUFC 333<\/a>, featherweight champion Alexander
\nVolkanovski<\/a> said Sterling (26-5) deserves the next title shot
\nif he beats Vallejos. However, the Australian identified Jean Silva<\/a>
\n(18-3) as the next contender if Sterling loses to \u201cEl Chino.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vallejos, meanwhile, is confident he\u2019ll secure that opportunity
\nwith a victory at UFC Qatar.<\/p>\n

\u201cGuys if WE beat Sterling, WE get Volk,\u201d Vallejos posted on X.<\/p>\n

Silva handed Vallejos his lone professional loss in his first
\n
\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a> appearance in 2023. Vallejos
\nreturned the following year and earned a UFC contract with a
\nfirst-round knockout. He has since won all four of his UFC bouts,
\nfinishing three opponents.<\/p>\n
