\nMcGregor<\/a> has more competition ahead of him despite the injury
\nthat derailed his comeback at
\nUFC 329<\/a>.<\/p>\n

McGregor suffered a knee injury in his July fight against Max
\nHolloway<\/a>, which ended after 69 seconds. His coach remains
\noptimistic about the Irishman\u2019s prospects, though a return to
\naction will depend on his recovery.<\/p>\n

John Kavanagh believes Conor McGregor could fight again after
\nUFC 329 injury, but says his recovery will determine what’s
\nnext<\/h2>\n

During an appearance on \u201cThe Ariel Helwani Show,\u201d Kavanagh said his
\n22-year relationship with McGregor has taught him not to doubt the
\nformer two-division
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> titleholder.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe says he does [fight again],\u201d Kavanagh said. \u201cI think I\u2019m just
\ntoo long around him, now 22 years around each other, and I\u2019ve just
\nseen him do too many things that seem to be impossible and he does
\nthem, repeatedly. So, if he says he does, I\u2019m not going to doubt
\nhim.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll see. I guess it\u2019ll be next year until he can start returning
\nto MMA type training. He\u2019s going through his rehab now and he\u2019s
\nback. He looks pretty good to me. He looks to be moving around
\nquite well,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Kavanagh said he doubts UFC 329 was the last time McGregor will
\ncompete, but stopped short of predicting what his return might look
\nlike.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just don\u2019t know if he\u2019s done with competition just yet,\u201d
\nKavanagh said. \u201cWhat does that look like? I don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n
