\nUFC Vegas 123<\/a> on Saturday at Meta Apex in Las Vegas. Durden
\nthreatened Osbourne with a first-round submission attempt before
\nusing his wrestling to earn a unanimous decision.<\/p>\n

Ode Osbourne explains the physical toll of Cody Durden\u2019s
\ntwister at UFC Vegas 123<\/h2>\n

Osbourne said defending Durden\u2019s twister attempt left him in pain
\nand depleted his stamina for the remainder of the bout. Despite
\nrecognizing how deep the submission was, he remained determined not
\nto tap, even at the risk of injuring his back.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Jamaican Sensation\u201d said he plans to have his back examined
\nand hopes he avoided a serious injury. He also vowed to return
\nstronger.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was difficult to fight after that first round,\u201d Osbourne said
\non Instagram. \u201cHe put me in a deep, deep, deep twister. Shoutout to
\nCody Durden. That twister he got me in definitely made it hard for
\nme to fight through the duration of the fight. Because my body, No.
\n1, was in so much pain, and it took a lot of the wind out of me.
\nBut we gonna come back stronger, better. He definitely didn\u2019t want
\nto strike with me. Which I thought he would want to strike more.
\nBut he just wanted to wrestle\u2026 I remember thinking to myself, \u2018Yo,
\nthis twister is deep. But I\u2019m gonna be having to break my back,
\nbecause I\u2019m not gonna tap.\u2019 Hopefully it\u2019s nothing too drastically
\nwrong with me. But I\u2019m gonna have to get my back checked out.\u201d<\/p>\n
