\n\u201cMoney\u201d Moicano<\/a> in a rematch.<\/p>\n

Nolan (12-1) and Moicano (21-8-1) headlined an
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> Fight Night at Meta Apex in Las
\nVegas on Oct. 31. Moicano controlled Nolan on the ground for most
\nof the first two rounds. However, referee Dan Miragliotta
\ncontroversially stood the fighters up in the second frame even
\nthough Moicano had Nolan\u2019s back. Nolan then finished Moicano in the
\nthird round. Fighters and fans have since slammed Miragliotta\u2019s
\ncall.<\/p>\n

What Tom Nolan said about a potential rematch with Renato
\nMoicano<\/h2>\n

Nolan is willing to give Moicano a rematch to settle the
\ncontroversy from their
\nUFC Vegas 123<\/a> headliner.<\/p>\n

However, the Australian believes his Brazilian counterpart couldn\u2019t
\nhave controlled him on the ground for the rest of the fight, even
\nif the referee hadn\u2019t intervened in the second round. Nolan is
\nconfident that he will finish Moicano sooner in a rematch.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s very unfortunate what happened,\u201d Nolan told Ariel Helwani.
\n\u201cBut we still had rounds three, four and five. There was no way he
\nwas gonna be able to do that for another three rounds. If he wanted
\nit, in a heartbeat, I would give him that opportunity. I honestly
\nthink it would probably go very similarly, but a lot earlier. Now
\nthat I’ve felt him, I think it’d be over pretty quickly. I don’t
\nwant to disrespect him or be out here calling him out. That’s not
\nwhat this is.\u201d<\/p>\n
